Where is the pandemic spreading? And how quickly? That is the question rt.live attempts to answer, a site with daily updates and graphics on the effective reproduction number of COVID-19.
A few months ago, our very own Thomas Vladeck noticed some potential improvements to the then-model, pulled an all-nighter drafting a cold email, and the result has been an unlikely collaboration with Kevin Systrom, Instagram cofounder, who launched the site.
