Yes, Netflix, We're Still Watching

Remember your New Year’s Resolution from 1999 to start growing your own heirloom tomatoes? Read one book a month? Read one book a month in a new language? Well, lockdown is the time to finally dust off your french horn and … actually dust those baseboards!

While in lockdown, 67% of Americans are watching more TV and 59% are watching more movies. This growth in mindless popcorn consumption only adds to the detritus no-man's-land between couch cushions, meaning 59% of Americans are also cleaning more frequently.

Among the expected casualties of a prolonged lockdown, Americans are socializing (66%) and working outside the home (47%) less frequently. Volunteering, playing a musical instrument, outdoor exercise, and alcohol consumption (mocktails, really?) are all COVID collateral damage.
